guitarlover519
Hey everyone, I have a sagging roof due to my AC, and was wondering how tough of a job it is to correct. What does the repair entail?
toyboxII
Hi--this topic has been discussed at length in the past. I suggest you use the "Search" function and see what you can find. As this is a common problem with our Toyhomes, I will be watching for new replies.
Skydancer2992
When my AC bites the dust, I will reinforce the top side with a 2' X 4' piece of honeycomb aluminum. The duct hole will be cut approximately center. Gaskets above the old aluminum ceiling and between the AC and honeycomb. This material is used for aircraft flooring and is available on Ebay for about $50.
DanAatTheCape
If I have to do it I will have a metal frame built to support the AC. Saw one at Acadia NP years ago - essentially angle metal that rested on the side walls
