DanAatTheCape
Traveling in Colorado - looks like I blew a head gasket. No water in oil, none seen out exhaust but cooling system is pressurizing way too much. Doing compression test tomorrow..... results with cool engine (warmed a little bit) 120 +- 5. Did Blue Devil Gasket Sealer and it seems to be working . Drove 100 highway miles today - did not overheat. Now to work around the dreaded code 52 - knock sensor not reporting to ecu, which put vehicle in limp mode. Bad mileage, weak power. The knoc sensor is way down in the V of the block - the harness usually is the culprit. Thinking of doing what others have done - move a knock sensor to an external location

Nam
Next is a leak down test. Good luck. That 3VZ engine is hard to work on...not much room

DanAatTheCape
long way from home -leak down will have to wait - hope it can wait anyway. IF I can get that 52 cleared life should be a lot better. Staying close to town for now - normally I would be higher.
