Sojourner Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 At long last, after replacing my plugs, wires, distributer cap, ignition coil, and fuel filter, I have discovered the cause of my Dolphin failing under load and idleing rough; the Idle Air Control Valve. Unfortunately, this part has been a booger to find. Does anybody have one for sale or know where I can locate one? Obviously, salvage yards are a good option, and I've been to a number of them, just haven't found a 22re with the part still in it. Quote
Sojourner Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 No, This is Ben. Currently NW OR, but if you have the part, and Gerald doesn't need it, I'll certainly take it. Quote
darren. Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Hey Sojouner, Did you have a case where the idle was high and then low and then the engine eventually died? That's what I'm dealing with now. Quote
Derek up North Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 New for $115? Amazon & O'Reilly's. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/BWD0/21950/02169.oap?year=1991&make=Toyota&model=Pickup&vi=1277861&ck=Search_02169_1277861_4740&pt=02169&ppt=C0018 Quote
defrag4 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 FYI your picture is actually the AC Idle up control, not the Idle Air Control Valve Quote
