SCRIPAL
I am getting very little rear brake. My mechanic looked at it and said it was not leaking fluid but it could either be a master cylinder or the Valve. These are hard to find and are $$$$$. I have done some research on the Net. and several Toyota truck owners have remove it entirely and had good result. Of course, this is not a mini either. Anyone had a problem with the valve and a fix. As usual, any insignt greatly appreciated.
WME
I removed mine on my Escaper, no problems other than much better brakes
SCRIPAL
Thanks, did you replace it with a universal valve. If not how did you do it.
WME
There's a pinned post about this in the engine, transmission, suspension section
Vanman
I don't know if this is mentioned in the pinned post, but replace the flexible part of the front and rear brake lines. They do degrade after enough years.
