jay Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 My father-in-law was showing me how the couch turned into a bed in his 92 Toyota Dolphin and now we cannot turn the bed back into the couch as it is stuck in position. SanDiegoPaul Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 The day after I got my '85 the wife and I spent some time getting to know this thing, and the couch/bed foldout was one of the things we messed with. In our case, the unit was very rusty and had probably never been folded out - and it was a bear to get back into place. I suspect that your hinges are rusty too, and causing it to be hard to get along with. Perhaps spray some WD40 on the hinges and try again? There was no release lever on mine.
