85scaper
I bought my 1984 Toyota Damen Escaper in Aug of 2013. I've done a few things and have more to do. My list: Area above cab done over summer - had water damage from previous owner. 1) transmission leak, looks like a rear seal 2) gas tank leak, read about fixing here - good info 3) roof / wood rot - replace 4) solar - install 5) anything to improve, upgrade, get enjoyment 6) read here and learn - wish for better MPG 7) Doh - cruise control to fix 8) Air ride suspension - refit plastic tubing so can use 9) who has wish lists? What's been done with yours? I have the four cyl. Just went to Ft Sill and back for my daughter's grad from basic. Found leak in trans and had added a qt after qt long haul. Scary waking up to leak and thinking torque converter out - just needed fluid TG. Now home after cautious drive back and guna get under and replace seal and do some things - yikes (?) I used to be a maint mechanic so I like this stuff

Bob C
Hi from another Escaper owner. I lover my Escaper. I really like that they installed top end equipment such as the direct spark water heater and furnace. It is nice to just hit the switch and have hot water, no pilot light. My wife and I are planning our next BIG trip for June of 2016. 5 weeks of western US. Hope you enjoy the site and get answers to any questions that you have.
