Debbit
Just got home from a really great trip! Went from las cruces to Mt.Graham Az, checked out several sites on the mountain over several days, (beautiful) then on across Az to a spooky little campground called Juan Miller for a night. Then up to lovely Alpine Az and camped at Luna Lake. Then to Grand Canyon for 4 nights. Then back to Luna Lake for the night and then home. We did a lot of exploring...plenty of rough roads. A lot of miles up a lot of steep grades. Got a little tired of 30 mph sometimes, but we made it up all the hills ok. Averaged 15 mpg pretty much the whole way. So 11 days with 2 adults and an old, big dog. It was fun...epic maybe. No mechanical issues at all, everything worked in the camper too. Pictures later. Bob C
It sounds like you had a great time. I am really looking forward to when my wife and I take off on an unplanned trip and just wander around. I would love to spend 6 months exploring this beautiful country we live in. kayakthecoast
I too am envious. I'm living the 3 day weekend dream right now for the next ten years, then full time Sunradering is on my list!
MontanaChinook
I love the rear dinettes... Looks like a great trip. I passed through Las Cruces this spring on my trip. Stayed one night up at some campground/park just outside of town...can't remember the name. Really cool mountains. Got a part at the dealership, hit the brewery for a beer and burger, then drove west.
