jcroc55
Hello, I'm new to the toyota motorhome world and just bought a 1990 toyota itasca. I have cleaned everything inside but there seems to be a sort of airfreshener smell that cannot be cleaned. I took out all of the cushions and washed them. I looked everywhere for a hidden airfreshener and can't find one. I was wondering if maybe the old glue from the wallpaper has a certain odor. I would love any and all advice. Thanks. linda s
Try rinsing out the holding tanks. They might have added tons of that tank deodorizer to make sure it didn't smell poopy. Need to go to RV dump for this and bring hose just in case there isn't one there Linda S
jcroc55
Thanks for the info. I think what happened was the previous owner replaced a part of the interior roof and used a strong smelling glue. Whenever it is hot out is smells worse, then when it's cool it isn't so bad. I'm just going to air it out as much as possible. Happy trails!
Mikesta
Sounds like what happens when the poopers full of pretty
MontanaChinook
Yeah I understand your reasoning but I haven't smelled a glue yet that someone used in anything like a camper that smells like an air freshener. I think like people are saying to you - it's probably the tanks.
linda s
When It's hot those smells will collect at the ceiling. It's been several months did you try rinsing the tanks yet? Linda S
