I've started to get a mild grinding coming from the rear brakes. I've got an 89. Any advice on tracking down brake parts? Are they standard more or less for 1 ton pickup? Might as well do wheel cylinders, shoes, springs and drums while in there.

I never had any problem getting the correct parts. Dirt cheap from Rock Auto. Just make sure you order for the 1 t on dually cab & chassis truck. One word of slight caution. For some reason - I've get to buy a brake hardware kit that comes with the correct anchor pins. I've kits from three different brands and all came with pins that were too short.
