Toobigboat2014
I have been looking for the right glue to re seam my rig. I went to Walmart and bought a cox glue and it shit haven't dried for over a week now. Please point me in the right place to buy it. As it turns out I bought a concert glue paste
Dolphinite no longer here
When you say you bought "a concert glue paste" I'm guessing you mean a "concrete" glue. This is the wrong stuff to use anywhere on your Toyota RV. What seams are "splitting" and where are they? If you can post some photos, maybe someone on this forum can help you with "re seaming" your rig.
sdboltdude
the picture you have of seam in your Long Beach post is not going to be fixed by just silicon aloneremember water travels you are going to have to find leak repair structure and then reseal with some good uv silicon I used 3M 5200 for my seams.we need to see better pics of seam to help you outlike I mentioned on other post look under cab-over mattress and see if you see some rot/water damage check your walls so if they're soft near the bottom and ceiling and around windows..you're going to have to very carefully take old seams off with out bending seamsyou want to keep them original shape so it's easy re-install..clean up all old silicon. scrape off then use a good cleaner to take off the resttry home depot cleaners first..(I used gas but you need to be very careful)use uv silicon and re-install seam. You should also reseal the windows the same way remove scrape clean use uv silicon (not butyl tape)when installing windows....hope this helpsSteve
