MontanaChinook
Another pretty basic question... I've been putting coats of water-based sealant on all cabinet and wall wood. As things are starting to come together, it's looking very "pale" in the coach, since I'm using light colored wood to keep things bright. I know I can stain some wood darker colors. But I'm thinking I'll probably paint some stuff. But I won't really have good ideas of how to paint things until it's all back together and I see how it looks, and what I might want to paint. I don't want to put wood up un-sealed. So can I seal the plywood, then come back and paint it later? Or does paint not stick so well once there's that "plastic" coating over it? WME
What brand sealer are you using?
MontanaChinook
Mostly minwax, though I did a couple panels with whatever Ace rebrands with their name. Clear satin.
