flyboyaviator
What type of awning can I use in for my Itasca-spirit; there is an attachment point, like a gutter, no more than a 1/2 inch deep, it looks like you can push thru the end of the awning length wise for it to stay in place; it is like a rail with a channel that squeezes and holds the end business of the fabric. MontanaChinook
You're lucky. I don't really have anywhere to attach an awning to the Chinook. I'm thinking of getting an "ez-up" type shelter to work as my front porch.
linda s
Can someone take a look at this and tell us what kind of awning goes into this thing. Pic above. I have no awnings on any of mine so don't know Linda S
Bob C
My Escaper has a channel mounted on the side for a bag awning. I also had the same channel on my pop-up and used the awning all the time. The advantage of the pop-up is that you could install the awning before cranking the top up and you didn't have to reach up high to do it. So far, that is the only advantage the pop-up has over the Toyhouse. My wife and I do plan on using that same awning on the Toyhouse when we travel. flyboyaviator
Old fashioned bag awning style rail. Looks like a shaped welt is used to hold the fabric into it. Maybe something like the ones on this web page. http://www.morseindustries.com/awning-rails-tubing-and-vinyl-welt.cfm or here http://www.i4test.com/JTSTopShop/products/prodDetails.asp?category=7&subcategory=103&size=0&page= 0&pID=2177 I would take some measurements and order a few sample welt pieces to see what fits best. I do thank you, now I know now what to look for.
