rob roy
I own a 1986 20' long dolphin. It has a Toyota chassis and 22RE engine. It needs FRONT shocks. But when I go to the auto parts store and tell them all that, they want to sell me struts (with a stud on the end) and not shocks like it has, which require a crosswise bolt to hold them on top. Does anyone know the right way to get the right front shocks for this vehicle? Thanks?
Dolphinite no longer here
Don't tell them its a motorhome. Just ask for front shocks for an '86 Toyota pickup. John

I just put these shocks on mine, a 1988. http://www.amazon.co...27376741&sr=1-1 Theses are high pressure gas shocks and are much better than the Monroe low pressure gas magnum shocks.
