waiter
Painting inside and need to either remove the sofa or the lower cushion so I can paint behind it. How do I get that thing out????? I can't see any bolts?
Derek up North
Like the rest of the construction, I don't suppose there/s a whole lot hold it together or to the floor, It seems I remember seeing a Phillips, pan head screw being used, but I don't remember if it was a Dolphin/Seabreeze or a Winnebago. Accessed by partially opening up the couch/bed and sticking your arm & head in the gap.
vtchris
Like Derek said. I took mine out, only took a few minutes, there were just some bolts on either side. Oh, I have a 1991 Itasca, yours might be different.
waiter
Got it. There were four bolts on the left side of the couch (facing the couch) that go into the cabinet, nothing on the right side. I did a "How To" (This is for an 88 Dolphin) http://toyotamotorhome.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=3539 JOhn Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
