Paul B
Our first trip this year started out 3 days behind schedule- and a blown transmission the first day- ended up in hotels for a week until we could have it rebuilt and had to head home! Three short trips later and the same problem! It simply won't shift (automatic RE 21?) and will make the journey to New Hampshsire to the transmission mech who rebuilt it--If it weren't perfect for us in every other way I would say- Forget it! Hopefully this time the transmission will truly be in working order-

Sunnynshare
Our first trip this year started out 3 days behind schedule- and a blown transmission the first day- ended up in hotels for a week until we could have it rebuilt and had to head home! I fear having to do the same thing -- how much did the rebuild cost? Thanks, Kim.
Paul B
The transmission slips and will not shift from third to fourth- the Rpm were quite high (the engine is the 22RE). The cost- 2000 for the re-build with a new radiator As the camping season winds down in the northeast- we hope to get the camper back this weekend and complete the finishing touches- I will remain optimistic that we will have no further issues with the transmission
