foxn2000
I just bought a 1989 toyota warrior. I check it out and while it was on flat ground I hooked it up to water and ran the sink, bath sink and shower. I check all the waste line and cabnets under the sinks and there are no leaks. Took it home and hooked it up again and when I ran the water in the sink in the bath I had a leak in the top of the hold tank. It did not happen before so I thought that since I was not on level ground that that might have something to do with the leak. I moved it to level ground and then hooked the water up and turned the bath sink water on and the leak disapeared. I know that the top of the tank has a problem with the seal, but since I just bought this and it is my first motorhome I do not know if this is common to all toyota holding tanks or do I have a problem. If I do have a problem with the seal at the top of the tank, can I fix it my self with out dropping the tank, do I need to take it to an rv repair shop or will it function fine as long as the rv is on level ground? turtle
Have you drained the holding tank yet? It may be full and over flowing when unlevel.

Yes I did, and when it was leaking the waste water drain was open and the hose was hooked to the drain. .
Gulfstream Greg
It should never leak, level or even sideways. Unfortunatly you are going to have to investigate where the fitting into the tank is.
