paddyboi
I want to paint my 1985 Escaper and I don't know how to remove the decals. Should I use a wallpaper steamer to remove the decals including the piping???
moms ruin
If thier in good shape get a high quality masking tape and tape over them. The tape will say good for 14 days or some thing along those lines. Home depot/Lowes carry it. Comes in various widths. If you want it gone,go to a body shop supply or a good automotive store. They should have decal removing solvents or a rubber disk to put on a grinder that will get the most hard to remove decal off. I've used a heat gun to take them off but it's hard on your hands and will ruin the paint. Fast. Steve.
