ATXBreeze
Any 1989 Micro Spirit Owners Out there? In Texas? Or thank my lucky stars in my hometown of Austin??? Just got my Micro Spirit and would love for a seasoned owner to give the operational low down on every little thing with my motorhome - very (reasonably) willing to travel to to said "seasoned owners" location for a primer. From this site I downloaded a pretty good 1992 Dolphin pdf owner's manual that is pretty close in configuration and operation and have already learned quite a bit. This forum, too, has been a terrific source of information. Of course, if I could locate and download the 1989 Micro Spirit Owners Manual, that would be great (if someone has some info on that, please pass it along). Mine's a 1989, but I imagine a 1988 or 1990 would be more than good enough to look and learn so'z I can hit the road with the necessary confidence and knowledge. Best to all! REALLYRURAL
So I posted my ad as way to get a bunch of pictures here. I have spent the last 8 years with the 88 and have much to relate over my 50 thousand miles. You have purchased a nice rig that can be rebuilt from the inside with minimal tools and experience. That said. I just pulled the transmission from my 1991 Toy and used a donor 1993 T100 transmission to repair the 91 and reinstalled the whole thing. It has worked well over a 180 miles. The 1988 took me around two months to repair the rot and the 1991 has been two years having a massive pine tree fall on it. So post some pictures of everything. I have been there done that.
