picklebill
Hi all - We just bought an 18 foot 82 sunrader and it looks like the shower drain does not go to the blackwater tank for the toilet, but goes out directly under the shower room to a hose connection under the coach. Am I missing something? Is there a way to direct the drain for the shower to the toilet holding tank? Thanks for any advice on this. Gulfstream Greg
Bill Sounds like someone modified the drain. 18 footers have the shower drain going into the black water tank via a p trap. The black water tank is only 8 gallons. So a couple of showers can fill it up. You have four options. You can get a boat bladder to connect to the hose when you take a shower. You can allways camp in a spot where you can just run it on the ground. You can re connect it to the black water tank. Or you can put in a small holding tank with a water activated bilge pump and pump it to your grey water tank. I have an 18 footer also and the shower into the black tank is a huge problem when out in the woods for a week. I am considering a tank and bige pump but the bladder idea is sounding really good. When not in use the bladder takes up little space. But I have not found a cheap one yet. Here is a link to some BLADDER
picklebill
Greg - Maybe I missed something and did not actually see what I thought I saw. Anyway, Ill look again and if it doesn't go to the blackwater tank, I'll look into the bladder suggestion.. Thanks, Bill
