odysseybernard
Put 2 gallons in the tank and water begins to leak from the line just before the drain valve where it goes thru the wall as shown. The drain valve area as seen from below is not leaking. I'm thinking of creating a new drain valve before the leak by drilling down thru the floor, as I don't think I can reach the line in the wall where it's leaking. It probably froze from not being drained when winterized. Not sure if replacing the valve will help as the leak is before it in the line. Any suggestions appreciated. DanAatTheCape
why can't you reach it? That looks like the fray tubing that is a problem - can't recall the name of it. You should not have to cut the floor .
odysseybernard
Think I'll use pex with shark bite fittings. But if the leak is behind the wall there i won't be able to reach or fix it.
