  1. Great job. Love all your woodwork. I had an 84 sunrader and the cabinets were awful the whole thing shook and rattled. Even had a buyer who backed out because of all the noise.

  4. Yes the later models are a lt bigger. I had an 87 no leg room now an 92 plenty of leg room and the seat has room to be reclined.
  5. Are you sure you have a pilot light? Most have a electric starter. Only very old models had pilot lights.
  6. I have used the Wave 3 and I love it. It never really glows evenly over all the pad. Just the nature of the product. I took mine out of my old toy and plan on putting it under the stove. I dont have an oven, so I can put it there easily. If you plan on moving it about you might consider a swivel connection. I have the old model so I can use it at elevation. Henry
  7. Here som epics of 120 watts. PLENTY. Find them used on craigslist.
  8. Harbor Freight has a very inexpensive flare tool kit. Under $10. I have used it and it works well. Good instructions JOhn. I have had to redo a couple until I got it right. H
  9. Another benefit of Wave 3 etc is that they are quiet. NO fan noise. Even with a new heater on my last Toy it was too noisy for me. When I use Wave3 I turn it off at night. Enjoy it while awake. In the morning I turn on the Atwood for 10 minutes for a quick warmup. I took mine out of the Sunrader I sold, and plan on installing it under the stove area, no oven. There is a great space for it in mine. Going to T off the stove lp line.
  10. I suggest a WAVE 3 heater. or if you don't camp at altitude a Mr Buddy etc. They dont need electric, save fuel 99% efficent. and most of all are reliable. So much money is spent TRYING to fix the atwoods etc. H
  11. there is also a link on the intro to this site. Good luck on your install. Henry
  12. very in depth good job. but.....the fridge works very differently when it is using propane. ie a flame. supposed to be a chimney effect in the bottom out the top. my sunrader had the exit air on the side a fwe feet above the fridge. i wonder?? the pics are really great. thnanks h
  13. Hi John, Does a larger inverter use more power than a smaller one to power a small (same) electrical need? ie If I have a small monitor that uses less than 30 watts etc can I use the smallest inverter? I wont be using a microwave etc just a tv monitor, dvd player. Is there an advantage to using a 1500 watt? What about fan noise? ablitiy to breathe? Thanks Henry
  14. Just got back from a week in mammoth lakes. On my install I cut the hole etc with a sabre saw. The outside wall on a Winnie is about one and a half thick. No supports etc to go through. I posted pictures on the yahoo site. Henry's 92 Winnie. The ride. Worked great this past week but it was cool outside. I saw some super quiet large computer fans at fry's to increase the draft maybe a good option. I have a Yakima box on one side of the roof. Amazing how much cooler to the touch the ceiling is under it. Makes me wonder a out trying some of the 'insulating, paint. Henry
  15. In a trailer I had I just put a vaaltera drain valve onto the shower and put a bucket under it. Use it when u need it. Close it when u want. Henry
  16. When I replaced mine, i told toyota dealer pickup but forgot to say motorhome. Had to return them for toyota motorhome part.
  17. I got it at home depot it. Is really two pieces. I posted a picture of it on the yahh site. I already ordered the fan. Henry Looks good - Where did you find the exterior cover?? ALSO - I'm betting you won't need the fan, as long as there is a reasonable opening that the frig air can get through. Try it before you go to ti JOhn Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
  18. Hi John I finished my install. A little differant then yours. I had dif. dimensions etc for the plenum. Posted on the yahoo site. Will be adding a vent fan below to make up for the blocking of the plenum.
  19. When I purchased my latest it had a very bad shimmey . Thought it had only 41k on it it had been aligned 5 times. I took it to the shop and he said first have the wheels balanced. ie two new front tires. Still shaking. When the mechanic aligned the wheels it took him a full hour. Said that he had to adjust it from the top and the bottom and that most mechanics only do the bottom. This was an alignment shop. Rides perfect now. 4,000 miles more and going smooth. Henry
  20. I am doing the same installation. If you plug your air con in and put some paper near the sides, rear etc you will see the suction or blowing from each. Henry
  21. If it is only at the end of a full turn. There are some plastic stops that may need to be replaced. They fit over a finger size projection on each side. Only a few dollars at the dealer.
  22. Great idea. Please keep the pics etc coming. Some thoughts. They make a fan unit for the top of the chimney, helps suck air out. It may help. On my old sunrader it had the air chimey on the side above the fridge not the roof. You might add one between the fridge and the air. Some people have added fans inside over the coils too. I may do this too. Thanks for being inventive. Henry
