All the roof seams, and wall to roof seams are fibreglassed, and front and rear seams. Now more like a Sunrader. -

Haven't been to Panama but certainly would go with ours, Live in La Paz BCS and deal with topes all the time, Last weekend went to a beach a little north of here, dirt road then Parked in a sandy area I think they can handle a little sand, but I have 5sp manual. There are at least 6-7 Toys here in La Paz.

Before you do anything you should run some acetone in the gas 3oz per 10Gals of gas. I use it on all my vehicles and it keeps jets, injectors clean, Some people will say it atomizes the gas for better gas mileage I and many others of us believe it just cleans therefore runs better gets better gas mileage.

I took mine off and would say it only weighs 75lbs. :)

I had the 5speed put in my 87 dolphin, also 456 rear end, also rebuilt engine and fine tuned. A month ago did over 3000 miles, all conditions, had a low of 15.7 and a high of 19.2(tailwind) overall average 17.6MPH. The people that did it had a donor PU and only had to have the driveshaft done by Machine shop. Just a lot of little things.

There are 2 wheel bearings on each side,We could not replace the ring and pinion it wasn't available here in Mexico. I thought there was a bearing on each side of the ring and pinion and one in front but just looked at the recpt and he bought 4 bearing and one seal. My costs would not apply up there. Numbers 17887/17831 1- 30306 1 32307W 1-1177 $110.00

I was lucky I bought it from a wrecking yard and they installed it. It turned out to be a lot more work than they thought. Had to use the donor flywheel, starter, speedo cable, clutch pedal, hydraulic stuff, and lengthened the drive shaft also bought new clutch disc. and throwout bearing. They also had to take off the automatic shifting controls. Now I can take off the 2 transmission coolers. Later will put the transmission up for sale and its a good one.

Just changed my 87 dolphin 22RE w/auto to a 5 speed manual I cant believe the difference Just driving it home I was doing 65 and wasn't working at all, my vacuum guage @45MPH was reading 6Lbs w/ auto now 10lbs that means economy, I might add The engine is rebuilt w/ new head, etc I'm happy I sure don't need a v-6 for power.
