  1. I have a 1990 Odyssey and have a leak in the tank in the water heater (Atwood A6G6). Can I just replace the tank or do I need to replace the entire water heater?
  2. I have a serious leak in the assembly of my shower faucet and need to replace it. Amazing it has lasted this long! I have a '91 Odyssey.... Will a regular home assembly this size work? Hookup hot and cold line are plastic 1/2 inch .... Thanks!
  3. Myself and a friend spent most of the day taking out the hot water heater assembly, dropping the tank and repairing the disconnected PVC "T" and replacing the grey water tank and then the hot water heater assembly..... tada! Wow! What a job! At least it's done now. It lasted 27 years and broke only due to one of the brackets to the tank breaking through the floor from age and wear. The vibrating tank being loose eventually developed a crack in the "T" from the kitchen sink and shower drain. We rigged a bracket to reconnect the bracket to be held strong where it broke through the floor.
  4. While repairing the release assembly to both grey and black water pipes, and also the shower drain trap.... I have a leak at the inlet to the grey water tank coming from the shower drain pipe! :-( This is totally unaccessible except if I drop the tank, I think. I have accessed this before through the area that is accessible if I remove the hot water heater assembly which is under the kitchen sink area. There was a leak there above the area where there seems to be one now. This old rig has these little things popping up now and then, but is in great condition! Low miles <60 K!!! Any advice on this would be very much appreciated!
  5. Thank you all! Sorry for not replying but busy with it and so much other stuff.... I went to DC parts in Bakersfield, CA and they had the exact assembly in separate pieces! All assembled and working great. But.... the jiggling and vibration while undergoing repair to the tube that goes to the grey water tank from the shower drain above the dump assembly... has developed a leak....! :-( What a bummer! Now I will probably have to drop the grey water tank to fix the joint to from the shower drain and kitchen sink into the grey water tank..... Any advice here?
  6. Thank you both for your replies but it is not what I need exactly.... any other ideas anyone?
  7. I have a leak in the assembly of my 1990 Toyota Odyssey Grey and Black Water Tank Release Valve. It is an assembly with a Y and both Grey and Black are released out of the same outlet with 2 gates, one for each tank. The grey outlet is 2.5" and the black side is 3". I need the whole Y assembly! The break is on the black water side connection. (see photo) The brand is Valtera Bladex Valve and the part number on the unit is Anonda V9B2 ABSI Please let me know where I can get the exact part.... I am inserting photos.....
  8. I have a 91 Toyota Odyssey with dualies 6 nut upgraded axle. 6cyl Auto I have a serious leak on the left side airbag. Is it ok to replace one? And what are the specs so I can order it or tell a mechanic. thanks!
  9. I have a 1990 Toyota Odyssey 6cyl Auto V-6. The Progressive Dynamics Coverter PD 7231 just seems it's getting ready for being upgraded... What is the best upgrade for this? And/or should I just keep doctoring up the old one? thanks! I have a good Solar Power 150watt panel now also with controler...
  10. Now I have this solar power system and when I leave it for storage... it will continue to charge if needed. thanks for this info, and help...
  11. I removed the wire harness from the battery charger circuit board and bingo! The unit still powers the 12V system and 120V refrigerator, but is not charging the battery! Thanks yababy! :-)
  12. This converter although old has worked great for the 3 years I have had it. Only once I had to use a jewelers file to clean the contacts on the magnetic connectors that switch the system from battery to the AC power. Anyone know if the battery charger circuit board can be modified?
  13. Ok, I downloaded a owner's manual for this model... It says that the battery charging is automatic! It has a feature of a red light that when fully charging is constant red. Trickle charging at 90% flashing red. Red light off. Fully charged! But the light comes on constant when plugged in at first! And then it stays constant for hours. But the battery is fully charged from the solar panels. Any comments? Suggestions?
  14. I need to know if it is possible to disengage the charger in the converter, please? The add file feature of these posts is not uploading my photos... thanks ya baby! Is there a feature to not use the charging feature of this converter and use the other features?
  15. Whoops! Of course... sorry! 1990 Toyota Odyssey 6cyl Auto. Progresive Dynamics Inverter Model # PD7231 I am happy with it as an inverter! But now with the addition of Solar Panels to charge my house battery, it is an overkill to the battery I think! I will try to download a photo.... BV Sajjan
  16. When I am hooked up to external AC, automatically the battery charger kicks in. I am curious what turns it off? And also if I can manually keep it off? I now have a good solar panel system which charges my house battery sufficiently. I don't want to cook the battery.... Thanks for your help!
  17. Wow! Taaadaaa! Thanks Linda that was it! A very small crack in the fuse that was hard to see! :-)
  18. There is no inline fuse, I checked! Thanks Linda, I try it! bvsj
  19. My Odyssey has 2 cigarette lighter connections. One in the cab and one in the coach. I don't smoke I use them to power my electronics... Ie. phone, ipad, gps, etc. Their great. Yesterday while in the coach the outlet went dead after I charged a Portable Power Pack by Cen-tech. It has never happened! before. I looked and could not see any of the coach fuses had tripped or blown... I use this everyday and it is so useful! Any advice what to do? I loaned my voltage meter, but there is no current to it, it seems. Ideas? please..... By the way, this Power Pack by Centech and also there is one by Chicago Electric, seems to be really great! Jump starter, Air compressor, inverter, and work lights.
  20. I purchased my Toyota RV 2 years ago. I just love it! It came with tires in ok shape but now need replacing. They are 205/75 - 14. I know the original are smaller because this size does not fit in the spare tire holder on the rear and so I put it on the roof. Could someone tell me what is recommended for this. It is 6cyl with auto trans. As well as recommended tire pressure? thanks! BV Sajjan
  21. Thanks guy for your input! Yes, thanks for the correction.. converter not inverter.... Anyway, it seems as thought the change-over mechanism kicked in after I drove some miles and everything is working again. (change over from 110 input to 12 volt) :-)
  22. When running house AC unit with AC power cord from another source, it overloaded and seemed to switch off like a breaker switch or fuse was blown or something but no fuse or breaker was blown. The interesting thing is that the battery system went completely off also....? How do I see if the inverter was affected somehow?
  23. I have a 1991 Toyota Odysey Motorhome w/ 6cyl. auto trans... I have an overheating problem... now is slight but don't want to wait until it leaves me stranded... any suggestons....there is no leaks from coolant or water from radiator and fan is moving well ....???? Thank for your advice and help!
