  1. It looks roomy, with headroom many would love. But at the expense of frontal area/aero drag. Weight? Who knows, but if built with anything beefier than the original 1"x2"s will be more overweight than usual.
  2. If it has 5 lug nuts, it was included in the Recall. The 'improved' 5-lug axle "that wasn't Recalled" does not exist. It is a myth.
  3. Are you looking for paint to match the Toyota cab or paint to match the colour of the Sunrader gelcoat?
  4. Either end of the leaf spring would be my choice. Where NOT to jack? Anywhere on the frame extension!
  5. I'd think any shop that caters to the Off-Road (not the Mall Crawlers) 4x4 crowd would be able to weld something up. I don't know anything about the Tacoma replacement, but a bit of sleuthing will see if the Hilux and Tacoma have the same pin diameter.
  6. I guess I should have said I expected to see a 6-lug adapter bolted to a 5-lug hub because that seems to be the usual way they were used with the 'mystery' 5 hand-hole wheels.
  7. Now I'm a bit puzzled. I expected to see a 5 lug front hub with an adapter but instead I see 6 lugs.
  8. A bit closer to the limit than I'd like for my own use. Best try hard to not load it up too much and respect the GVWR of 4825lb. Is the 10" rim width a typo? The 235/75R15 are supposed to be on a 7" width maximum.
  9. I'd start by lighting the range. The simplest to figure out and it will help purge any air trapped in the propane line for the other appliances.
  10. Without rereading everything, I think he has 4 of the 3 hand-hole wheels that would have come with a Toyota Recall Kit. Somewhere along the line the front has received adapter/spacers and the 5 hand-hole wheels. 1 has failed. If this is the case, I would try fitting a 3 hand-hole wheel on the front to make sure it fits without clearance/offset issues. If no issues, I'd order 2 new 3 hand-hole wheels. The 5 hand-hole wheel might be useful as a spare, if he doesn't already have one.
  11. Sorry, but I disagree that his 'fancy' wheels are 6 hand-hole wheels. Though I've had to use my X-Ray Super Power, the spacing just isn't right for 6 holes and the size/shape of the holes is wrong. They're 'mystery' 5 hand-hole wheels. The 1986 Toyota 6 hand-hole wheel have smaller 'holes' and since there a 6 lugs and 6 holes, they are centered. The 6 & 5 combination are not centered. 6 hand-hole and 3 hand-hole rims almost interchange. Later 3 hand-hole have conical seats & lug nuts. 6 hand-hole are flat seats & lug nuts. I won't guess as to what the 5 hand-hole wheels use.
  12. Which of your wheels is cracked? I'm going to guess it's one of the 'fancy' ones, which I'm going to guess is an Aftermarket (non-Toyota) part. I don't remember ever hearing of a Toyota wheel failing, only 'foolies'. Since you have both types of wheels available, you can evaluate if they will interchange, front and rear. Assuming the all have the same BCD and center hole, the major difference will be the rim width and offset/back spacing. Toyota dually rims are 5" wide. I don't know the offset/back spacing.
  13. With the FF DRW axle, Toyota supplied 2 different 6 lug wheels. 1986 only, the 6 lug wheels had 6 hand-holes (with 5 lug wheels on the front):- 1987 - 1993 the 6 lug wheels had 3 hand holes, front and rear:- This appears to be your 'simpler' wheel. I assume you have 4 like this and would have come with the Recall 'Kit' from Toyota. Your 'fancy' rims are a bit of a mystery. I've seen them a few times before, IIRC on Odysseys. They appear to have the same BCD and center hole, but only have 5 hand holes. I think they were mounted to a standard 5 lug front hub using an adapter. Here's an Odyssey with 5 hand hole rims front and rear. Here's a '5 lug to 6 lug' adapter with 'fancy' 6 lug wheels.
  14. Best start would be to gather the make and model of all your appliances and download Pdfs of the Manuals. http://bryantrv.com/owners.html http://bryantrv.com/docs.html These are from a 1991 Itasca. They might be the same as yours.
  15. There was a guy selling a Toyota RV Guide eBook. I don't know anyone who bought it, but I doubt it was any more a collection of Pdfs found on the internet.
  16. Nope, there's no Toyota Motorhome Encyclopedia. The most prolific builders were National (Dolphin/Seabreeze) and Winnebago/Itasca, so you'll find most of those for sale. Start research those then work on the more obscure models.
  17. Sunrader is famous for doing oddball 1-offs!
  18. I'm not sure if any motorhome with a 'walk-through' would have come with a bench seat as standard. Kind of defeats the purpose of the 'walk-through'.
  19. I think I would find some way to gain access from the back (ie from inside) to pack it out before sealing between the 2 panels. To seal? In the boating/marine world, if you don't want something to come off/apart, 3M #5200 is used. If you want it to come apart at some point, 3M #4200.
  20. I could see this as being a problem for many. I'm 6'-2".
  21. Any further info you can add about installing the 2004 Forester seats? How close to being 'bolt-in' were they?
  22. I can't say I've ever heard of any connection between the LP detector and the propane supply. But I haven't heard everything yet. Here are Winnebago Warrior wiring diagrams. 1990 Automotive 085259.pdf 1990 Body 095714.pdf 1990 Body Inst 095715.pdf 1990 Chassis Inst 084682.pdf 1991 Winnie Wiring - Monitor Panel 89062.pdf
