Wow! Your 85 dolphin looks exactly like mine! I've never seem one with the same layout before.

When I bought my dolphin it came with an extra gas tank. I'm not sure why somebody along the lines removed it after having installed it, as the original is awfully small (I can go about 160 miles). Maybe I'm just spoiled because I can go over 500 miles in my truck.... I don't know where he put it or how he had the gauge connected so it would tell him the fill level - or where the spout to fill it would have been. I'd like to add it again, but has anybody here ever added one? How do you connect the fuel line? Will it draw from both at the same time? Not a terrible thing to happen, but do you just put a "y" on the line???? HELP!

I must admit that I'm a bit jelous of your v6, I've got the 22re, and it's great, but those 7 hour drives turn into 8 or 9 hours. I hesitate to say it for fear of getting lynched, but I'm not terribly concerned with gas mileage. It's just tough with a wife and 2 toddlers when you have to go so slow........

I'd really only like to go 75 on a decent freeway. We are planning some trips from WA to UT and there are some loooooong flat spots between here and there and it would be nice to cruise a little higher. I can get about 60ish right now. What's the best way to get some hp for not too much dough? I've looked into a larger cat converter and exhaust, but don't think it's worth the 300 bucks. I did order a kn intake 57-9008, though. I plan to put that in next week.

I have a 1985 dolphin - 4 speed automatic - and was wondering if anyone has ever looked into swapping out the differential for one that would allow more speed on the highway.
