linda s
The best solution I think anyone has found is white garage door seal http://www.stardoorparts.com/Garage-Door-Sandsto-Perimeter-Weather-Seal-2-Wide-p/DRSTOP2SAN.htm?gclid=CISm0t6q98gCFcVlfgod-McDAg Attached with contact cement and white silicone to seal the edges Example of how it looks. http://s46.photobucket.com/user/gfrasier/media/84%20Nissan%20Shorty%20Sunrader/DSC_0030.jpg.html?sort=6&o=10 Linda S
jhdbad
Is the seal you have posted a uniform thickness? Is this the same product used on Gail's ? I looked at a garage seal at a local place but one side was much thicker ... would not be flexible enough to follow contours I like the look on the Sunrader. linda s
Gail bought hers at Home Depot. Here's the Home Depot stuff http://www.homedepot.com/p/MD-Building-Products-1-in-x-30-ft-Vinyl-Garage-Door-Weatherstrip-03822/100190366 Linda S

jdfrost64
as for the sealer you should never use silicone to seal outer areas of a rv. use a non-leveling rv sealent.
linda s
The silicone is not for sealing. It's to give a neat edge to the trim strip. RV sealant would look ugly. Linda S
jhdbad
Ok bought the seal from Home Depot. Due to the messy job of caulk adhesive from previous owner need to use 2 seals side by side for added width. Would there be any advantage to spray some Great Stuff window/door type in gap between cab and coach?
linda s
I don't know if that stuff breaks down. You want all the gasket material to sit on a solid surface with maximum adhesion underneath. Glue and spray foam don't sound compatible to me. Linda S
