GPS_yota Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 I've owned my 1984 Dolphin 300 for almost a year. I spent a few months overseas and now I'm back in the US and back in the Dolphin. Figured I'd share a few shots and see if anyone had some suggested spots to visit on the West Coast now that I'm parked in the bay area. So far I've enjoyed visiting: NYC, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, Austin, College Station, Black Rock City, LA, Monterrey, Sacramento. My usual plan is to visit a city and explore the abandoned downtowns of the US each weekend. I find it fun and relaxing to walk or bike and take a few photos of interesting things I find. If anyone is interested in similar, send me a note sometime. I think I'll be visiting Eureka next, or possibly Sonora / Yosemite. Cheers! sailfritz Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I pick up my 85 Dolphin 500 series May 2nd and fix her up min Los gatos, Bay area till my oldest brother arrives from jersey the 17th of May and we take off for a week of "getting the bugs out",..seeing how this and that works and what don't.
