DanAatTheCape
scanned my operator manual & attached it for anyone so interested. The Suburban DD17DSI furnace was installed in 92-93 Winnie Warriors/ Itasca Spirits. My question is does anyone have a source for high altitude jets (orifice)? The ops manual has a table for high(er) elevation jets but Suburban could not give me a part number for anything but the sealevel - 4500 jet. Thanks - Dan

Thanks - Dan Dan, after having mine "fixed" twice and having it quit igniting again..., all within an 8 day period, I bit the bullet and had a new furnace installed. No regrets. Lee & Joan
Choise "FURNACE" in drop down menu at http://www.rvdealers...fheader_dti.htm , then go to your model, looks like a new one is $550. They show a parts breakdown but I don't see the burner orfice jet listed. I would think if you took your burner orfice jet to a propane dealer they should be able to find a smaller orfice of the same thread size. One other very unscientific method to get a smaller orfice size (used by off road motorcyclists at high elevations without the proper smaller jets) is to take some multistrand copper wire and jam some into the orfice to make it smaller, like I said, pretty hoaky. You could solder the jet orfice up, then drill it to a smaller size, that would only be half as hoaky ?
