About the seats I've replaced mines with ones from '98-'00 Honda Civic, and we are pleased with them, very comfy.

When time permits....When I redid my front cab, I did what you did, plus a bit more.

I installed a layer of Reflectix under the carpet and a extra layer over the transmission to help with heat.

To help with the looking out of pill box gun port effect, I raised the drivers seat 1".

The Reflectix worked well in both cases.

There are better products (dynamat), that the the auto sound guys use. It is more $$$ than Reflectix.
