    • I'm getting ready to swap axles and double checked my measurements.  My rear sway bar is mounted to the axle with mounts that are 11" outboard from the centerline.  The mounts on the six lug axle are about 14" from the centerline.  So my rear sway bar will not fit and I'm looking for a swaybar that does.

If you have a Toyota motor home sway bar, the way to tell if it will fit is to lay it on the ground. Imagine it is a staple, with two short legs. Where the two short legs turn 90 degrees for the long run across the "top" of the staple measure the distance between the legs.  If it's about 22", nope.  If it's about 28", yep.

I am located in N. Idaho where the I-90 crosses it near Coeur d'Alene.  Shipping would be atrocious, so I'm happy to drive many miles.  Please let me know if you know of one, or have one yourself.  Thanks!

    • Shaunydaun...I'm of the same mind but having no luck in actually removing my old mini venetian blinds. I have a 1991 Toyota Winnebago Warrior with mini blinds on all 3 windows inside the coach,a small one over the kitchen sink, a little larger over bathroom sink and the biggest one over the dining table.  I can feel the plastic clips on both ends of the head rail and it feels like I should be able to just pull the front flap of the clip downward as it appears there's a small hinge facing the wall on the back of the clip. But I am having no luck in getting the clip to open and am also unable to determine if I need to remove the valance and if so, from where!  No screws or L plates to be found anywhere.    May I ask how you removed your blinds?

    • I think you mean JD. He’s no longer on this forum. I believe he’s on a Chinook forum on FB. You could try there.

W50 was an option on RN 28 chassis.

It seems I remember you need to source the W50 crossmember for everything to work. I would attach the transmission (supported) then figure out what modifications need to be done to the L43 mount to work.

I like my L43. It’s a bullet proof transmission. Good luck.  Fred
