zero Posted July 24, 2016 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Kind of a neat looking rig for sale in Massachusetts. Chinook made several RVs on Toyotas and Datsuns with pop-up roofs, or higher fixed roofs. But in 1979, they came out with the Eagle that used the lower pop-up roof body but had it rigged so it was fixed and could not be raised. Kind of odd. Came on a Mazda (badged as a Ford), Datsun, or Toyota. Woodalls tested one in 79 and only got 14.5 MPG with it. Same year as the fixed-roof Eagle, Chinook also offered a pop-up roof Gazelle.
