payaso del mar Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 so I've been waiting for something to finally break on the '02 Taco. it finally delivered: both exterior door handles broke off. within 4 days of each other! and right before we were going to leave for Mexico trip. the '85 Bandit, OTOH, appears to have the original door handles after 30 years. (I ordered new ones anyway since Rock Auto had em for $5 each) call me paranoid, but I think Toyota has learned something about gently urging you to go buy a new truck....their drivetrains soldier on forever, so they have to make something eventually break..........
