Courier
Loose bolts? Metal plates friction? Where to look first?
MontanaChinook
You'll really need to be more specific. First thing that comes to mind is the speedometer cable, but it's really hard to say...
zero
If it's the speedo-cable the tone/pitch of the sound will change as you speed up or slow down.
Courier
OK, looks like it is the "speedo-cable" as the noise comes up only @ 20km/hour+ speed. Thanks, Is it easy to fix by any chance?
Derek up North
In general, you could try some graphite powder to lube the cable. But I'm not sure if there's anyone here with specific experience with the Courier. Have you tried:- http://fcc.createforumhosting.com/ http://fordcouriercollector.com/ I'm not sure if the Factory Service Manual would not go into much detail. Haynes or Chilton, if you can find one. Courier
http://fcc.createforumhosting.com/ http://fordcouriercollector.com/ Derek, what a great link! Found topic pointing to a "throttle bushing" issue... Got to learn what is it about... Edited June 5, 2015 by Courier
Derek up North
BTW, it looks like it's a waste of time looking for a 'useful' Courier Yahoo Group.
