skippervido
I want to put a bag awning on my Sunrader 18 ft but it looks like it would take some rearrangement of the door drip rail to have the awning extend over the door. I would also like to put the brackets on the motorhome sides to hold the awning legs but there isn't any room on the cab side of the entry door. Has anyone else put an awning on their shorty? skippervido
Thanks for the ideas. I hadn't heard about the combo drip and awning rail. I'm hoping I can locate an 8 ft section. Browsing through some gallery photos I saw a picture of a similar installation with the brackets on the cab door.
skippervido
Luckily I found a combo drip rail-awning rail at my local RV store and even in a choice of colors. For myself I don't think blocking the passenger door would be a problem. An alternative is there is about an 8 inch area to the rear of the door edge where the vent is that might work depending on how long I want the awning to be.
