We have searched everywhere and are unable to find the VIN number on this vehicle. Can anyone please tell me where this number is located. Can't use this beautie till we make her legal. Thanks! If the truck is an actual 79 model, single headlight, the vin number is stamped into the side of the passenger side frame rail just to the rear of the front passenger tire. If its a 78 truck chassis, 4 headlights, the vin is on the drivers frame rail just behind and to the front of the drivers front tire, may have to scrape and brush a little but they should be there, will start as RN########.
