Riverpark Eric
My black water tank drains normally via the standard tube that locks onto the tank. No problemo there. My problem (and it's been months since I've been doing it this way ) is the gray water tank valve is 1 1/2 inches. I have to hold my Rhinoflex tube there while draining, as the valve is too small. See attached pics. Is my best option to purchase an adapter of some sort or to replace the entire valve. In the other pic you can see how it looks like a previous owner changed the valve size for some reason. Any and all advice is welcome. waiter
I think your missing some plumbing! On mine there is a T in the plumbing that feeds the drain hose. Black goes to one side of the T, Gray goes to the other side of the T and the drain connector hose fitting is on the other side of the T. I drain the Black first, then the gray John Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
Dolphinite no longer here
Eric, You can probably find an adaptor to fit this valve but it would be much simpler to just change over to the full size three inch valve. They're not that expensive and doing this change (four simple bolts) would make your relationshup with your grey water tank much better! waiter
Heres a photo of the tank drain on my Dolphin. I looked at it carefully, it looks like a "T" fitting. The top left of the T is where the hose fitting is (has a twist on cap). The top right of the T is mounted directly to the Black valve. The bottom of the T is smaller in diameter and mounts directly to the Gray valve. John Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
picklebill
It does look like stuff is missing - here are some photos of our 82 18' Rader. As you can see, there is an adaptor to go from 1 1/2" to the standard drain hose connection. It should be available at a good RV supply.
