JJFJTJJJ
HI... new to board. Just bought a 86 gulfstream conquest... am getting only 10-11 mpg... is this normal??? If not, what can I do???
waiter
Depends on speed, winds, engine (4 or 6), Trans (auto or manual), Altitude, weight. I think these are listed in order of how much effect they have on MPG. Complete tune up, then go from there. Maineah
I get 13 if I try to do 65 all day and 15 if I slow down. The faster you go the worse it gets it's a whole lot worse then any car with speed increase all the aerodynamics of a run away brick. But as waiter said a tune up maybe in order being a new owner you have no ideal what really has been done and when.
Nam
You are in the low range but not completely out of track. Try a tune up and take it easy on the gas pedal to see if it would increase
