caldaq
Can anyone help me with a feul pump part number? The parts stores I went to were not able to find anything on a 77 toyota chinook. Since it is a carburator type engine would any low pressure feul pump work?
Derek up North
This is what I found. http://www.napaonlin...7+50070+2070009 After doing a search, it appears that originally there was a mechanical fuel pump. You could also look for a 'Universal' cube pump which are generally available in a couple of different pressures. The pump suggested by NAPA shows a fuel pressure of 3-4psi. The last time I bought one it was around $45. And from Advance:- http://shop.advancea...hTerm=fuel+pump Or this bargain on FleaBay will get the job done:- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PUROLATOR-GAS-DIESEL-ELECTRIC-FUEL-PUMP-60-OFF-04SV-/330512685486?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf41759ae
Derek up North
Hmmm. Checked the first link I posted above. It was supposed to take you to a Facet pump for $140+. Anyway, the same thing seems to be available on FleaBay for $40, shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PUROLATOR-GAS-DIESEL-ELECTRIC-FUEL-PUMP-60-OFF-87SV-/350426177403?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5197071f7b

Advance & autozone both have the ability to search for toyota pickups in that year range with similar engine. Cross referencing known parts like oil filters will help assure confidence. Those sites show picture of parts too.
caldaq
Thanks for the information and links. The "cube" one is a electric one?
