Mack
Greetings, from mts. east of "left coast". New-Guy, so please excuse any goofs. Wife & I are singers. Looking for Toyota Chinook, to do "mini-gospel" tours. Last year was fun, but traveling in Geo Tracker NOT. Need to compare mileage between Chinook pop-up & Chinook rigid wall. Pictures appear to show only inches difference in height, so looks like main dif. would be weight, as rigid I've seen is 6'longer & probably more amenities. Any help appreciated & if you can, at least, tellme where to go. I've been told that b-4, but Southeast, in summer is as close as I've been. Thanx, Mack. Bodybagger
Aerodynamically, these things are all just a big parachute. Fuel economy will depend almost entirely on your powertrain. 20% difference between two identical models would not be unusual if one has engine and transmission in better condition.
