Haleth Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 I'm looking into buying a chinook (actually two, but one is a 'junker'). The point being is that the decent 1976 chinook had the roof pop up while driving and tore off. There is damage to the top and the canvas, but the main coach is just fine. The sellers are also offering a '74 chinook that has a decent top and canvas that I was thinking about switching over. Additionally, the top vista window is broken in the 76 but in tact in the 74. The chinook bodies look to be the same but There might be slight differences I might have missed. -Would the top from a '74 chinook fit onto the coach of a '76? -Would the vista window (Forward windows above the cab) from the '74 fit into the '76?
