yota21 Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 Well I finally got my 4x4 converted sunrader up and going! Although still working on it at least it drives and camps now! Trying out different gear ratios trying to get the most power out of it, I settled on 4.90 gears on 31s. Still wanting more Im going to 30s next. With 31s 65mph is about 3200 RPM with W56a 4x4 trans. Im wanting it more like 3400 for better power up hills. Im about to swap in a R151f trans to help as well since it has lower 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear ratios over the w56. Im planning to pull a trailer so any extra horses ill take!! Yes I know the frame needs reinvorcement!!! im all over it. Anyways its been a awhile since I posted just thought id do a update!!
