Fresh Water Inlet, How to use?

Hello,

This is probably a really dumb question but the fresh water inlet on the side of the coach (not the potable water tank fill), do I just run a hose to it, connect & then turn the hose on?

Does the inlet automatically cut off the water when it is full? I'm just afraid that if I put the hose on it & turn it on that it might break pipes or cause flooding somewhere in/under the coach.

Please advise.

Thank you!

You will need to use a 40 psi pressure reducer on the hose to avoid blowing the connections in your water supply system.

Other than that part you just turn on the hose.

Use a hose that is certified for drinking water (will be white in color)

The direct connect city water system is separate from your water holding tank. If you need to fill your water holding tank you will have to do it via the other connection.
