Removing crank up antenna?

Has anyone ever removed the crank up antenna from their toy home? I was considering removing it… and using the area on the roof for a solar panel or two. I don’t have solar installed now and I’m just considering different options.

As for removing the antenna... Is it a difficult task? I have a 1991 Toyota dolphin model 200 Shorty… Rubberized roof… So I am not sure about the ability of the roof to hold much weight. I will probably put two by fours lengthwise across one into the other to crawl onto just like when I clean the roof.  Anyway… Just asking if anyone’s ever done this, and if so any suggestions…
