Hello,

I have an 85 Sunrader with the 22re auto. I just drove it back to New Brunswick, Canada where I live, from Detroit Michigan, where I purchased it. On some of those long hills in New York State and Massachusetts, I pushed the OD button to take it off, but nothing happened. I had to floor it to get it to kick down. When you push the button you can hear the solenoid click in and out when under the vehicle but it does not seem to affect the gearing when you are driving it. The trans on this vehicle was rebuilt about 3 yrs and 4 K miles ago. Any suggestions? Am I going to injure the drivetrain by driving it like this? I am assuming that the OD is stuck in the on position as I hear it shift three times. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

James
