johnnyonthespot Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 well I have taken every visible fastener (screws) off of the cabinets in my dolphin.... trying to get at the ceiling panel renovations I am working on... anyone want to offer me some advice on cabinet removal? what in the H is still holding these bad boys on here??? turtle Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 You will need to remove the false bottom inside the cabinets. You will find additional screws in the back framing under the false bottom. There are also screws on the vertical side so you will need to remove the interior there too. If your cabinets go around in a horse shoe you will find that they are screwed together. Find where the interior piece joins and you can get a thin flat bar between them. Just take your time and work out the interior bottom. The tacks will most likely stay with the cabinet and the heads will pull through the 1/8" floor panel. You will have to disconnect your DC lines going to lights and other things.
