thepager5 Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 Hey there guys, I purchased 2 Camco roof vent covers yesterday. I started to mount them this morning and have noticed that the "L" brackets are too tall. They actually go up over the edge of the vent lid by 1/4". I am going to have to cut them off and re drill the hole for the bolt. Are they supposed to be that tall? Do they go up under the edge of the vent lid? If they go under the vent lid - it won't work for me, vent is tight already and the heads of the nuts will add more distance. Really dont want to mount the roof vent cover onto the roof.
