If I wanted to do a junkyard conversion to the heavy duty axles up front, what years are compatible for the swap? is there a commercial kit for the swap also? Thanks again. gj You can get 24mm front torsion bars from Downey Off Road and replace your smaller bars. You may want to go with some Bilstein shocks also (Downey has good pricing on these too). http://www.downeyoff-road.com/SuspensionCo...ts/1979-95.html You can get a front 5 lug to 6 lug adapter so that you can use the same rims on all 6 location from this company http://www.customcommercialwheel.com/ I have the Downey front torsion bars on my 1981 and stock Toyota 5 to 6 lug front rotor adapters (Toyota no longer makes this part) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
