docweathers
I have a 91 winnebago micromini, "igloo cooler on wheels." Half of the screws are comming out of the foam core all over it. How do I create something in the foam core to give the screws something to bite into. Would squirting something like Liquid Nails into the screw holes fill the foam and give the screws something to connect with. Or, do you have any other suggestions to get screws to bite into my igloo cooler. Larry
Gulfstream Greg
Injecting the wrong type of glue into the holes could actually melt the foam. I am curious though as I have never seen a manufacturer just screw into foam. Usually there is some sort of backing material for the screw to bite into. Winnebago is still in business, maybe time to give them a call and find out how they would fix it!
