  1. I called Aerotanks ...960 for the tank + Shipping + Tax . He said its not easy to install
  2. I agree, Stateside , I'm not too worried . I can even call AAA. I am planning to go to Baja this December and I'm already nervous and checking how far apart the gas stations are
  3. I called them up... $280 USD for shipping ... LOL
  4. Do they sell US ??? it's in Australia
  5. I installed an Atwood Command Air 13,500 BTU unit . I'm happy because it runs off a Honda 2000 genset and its super quiet inside.
  6. Good Call... Take your time looking for the right one. You will know when you find it....
  7. There is a space right behind the storage bin (under the couch) , it looks like I could mount a 12 gallon tank in there . I'm not sure how I could connect the 2 tanks (probably put a Y in the fill hose and another Y in the feed hose???????) . Brand:Summit Racing Manufacturer's Part Number: SUM-290102 Part Type:Fuel Cells Product Line:Summit RacingĀ® Drag Race Fuel Cells Length (in): 17.500 in. Width (in): 16.000 in. Height (in): 10.000 in. Moeller 630012LP Portable Fuel Tank, 12 Gallon 22.90"L x 14.30"W x 13.60"H with cap.
  8. Hmmmmm.... very interesting. I will start my search
  9. Anybody figure out how to get extended range from the Toyo Home. Mine has a 15 gallon tank and I think I can get around 175 on it without running dry. I am thinking of trying to install a 10 gallon extra tank (detachable) for super long trips. Any ideas?
  10. Non - eco mode, I did not try the eco mode just because the guy at store said outright that was more for light loads. You can hear the engine surge when the AC goes on and then it resumes its idle. Very quite and light genset. It was 90 degrees outside. Got the inside temp to 73 in 30 minutes. Not sure what the humidity was (NorCal). Also the noise level of the Atwood is very impressive . Very quite operation.
  11. Water Leaks. Go all over the damn thing and look for Dry rot. Check all the appliances and RV stuff . Check suspension. Just like buying a used car except a house is included. Enjoy Dude
  12. So , the results are in. Installed the Atwood Command air 13.5 (they sent me 4 units - 2 broken in shipping , 1 actually working unit , and another by mistake . Wherever they are shipping out from needs to package them better. The boxes show up all ripped and banged up). I borrowed a Yamaha MZ80 2000 watt generator from a friend and tried starting it up. NO GO. The generator just kept dying whenever the compressor kicked in. So that sucked. I called a Honda generator store to see if I could test the RV ac right there in their store and said it was OK, but they said it was too small too for a 13.5 ac unit. I got to the Honda store and we plugged it in . The Atwood is kinda weird because it runs for around 3 minutes on fan only to cool down all the hear exchangers before the compressor kicks in. Then the compressor kicked in and walla , the Honda kept going. Upon reading the specs, the Honda has a 98 cc engine while the Yamaha had a 79 cc engine . Both rated at 2000 surge watts , 1600 running , but I guess the Honda has more torque to keep going on the surge. Mystery put to rest, a Honda EU2000i will start a Atwood 13.5 command air. I even tried turning on the fridge and it did not even bog. Good times ps.. 85 lbs for AC , 45 lbs for genset. Not bad

  14. paid 8K for mine 91 V6 , Winnie , 50 K ,no leaks , no ac , no genset . I will probably end up at 13K after all the upgrades and repairs . Changed every serviceable part , added ac and genset.
  15. 525 with the coach vent and remote + 45 bucks for shipping (got it on my12voltstore). They are installing right now. I should test it on Saturday and let everyone know. I was skeptical too , but its on their website and that is that their selling point
  16. My Atwood 13.5 AC unit arrived today. It is advertised by Atwood that it is designed to run on a 2000 watt generator. I bought the champion 3100 and also found that there is no place to store it. I will have the ac installed this week and pick up the Honda EU2000i and let everyone know the result.... pretty stoked to see it all work
  17. Hi Guys, I am thinking that the set up of a Coleman Mach 8 9,200 BTU unit & a Honda EU2000 generator is the best . I was originally thinking the Mach 8 13,500 and a Champion 3,100, but I would have a hard time finding a place for the genset (I would need to build a box of the back). I think the 9,200 should be plenty to cool that little RV. My only concern up to now is that I cannot confirm that the Honda 2000 can start the 9,200 AC. Any opinions much appreciated...
  18. Anybody install a transmission cooler on their toyo home? Is it even needed?
  19. Linda, How many showers do you think you can get from a full tank ?? Can you attach better level gauges?
  20. Hi Guys, Took the Toyo home for the first time for a 3 nighter. Got a couple questions 1. Water - The water fill is a little weird. I am not sure if I am doing it right . I opened the water door and had to hold the hose in place (there is no way to attach it) . It kept backing out unless I had it on super low flow. It took me a good 10 minutes standing there holding the hose in place. Is this correct? 2. The water level gauge was showing only 3/4 full even when no more water would go in. The after 2 light showers , its in the red. Is this just a sensor thing or does the RV really take very little water? Does the rv have to be level when filling the water? 3. The same problem with the grey water meter. It showed full after 2 showers, When I dumped it, I swear there was less than 4. gallons that came out. Doe anybody know how much the grey water and black water tanks can hold? 5. How long can the fridge run on propane? I've had it on for over a week and it says its still 3/4 full 6. Tire Pressure -Front & Rear tires 7. Rear Tire - how do you get a reading from that one tire that has the valve facing the other way? 8. Air bag pressure?
  21. will a Honda 2000 start a roof top ac unit ????
  22. will the Honda 2000 start a roof top ac unit ????
  23. Hi Guys, I was thinking of buying either the Champion 75537i or the Honda 3000is. The Honda is 750 more and also weighs more, but I think its quieter and uses less gas. It also has the Honda reputation... What do you guys think?
  24. I have the 6 and auto trans. I still think the 4 cylinder with a manual trans is stronger. At least you can keep it on the correct gear on climbs .......my 2 c's
  25. I saw a guy yesterday in an F250 with exactly what your talking about. I've been scratching my head as where to put bicycles and the front is a good location. I am not sure how he had the hitch attached , but it looked exactly like a tow hitch, but bolted to the front. I think a company called CURT makes them..I think they have a multi fit in Walmart for 88 bucks...http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/Reese-Towpower-Class-III-Multi-Fit-Hitch/1957059
