I myself am In CDA Idaho but my grandmother has the motorhome in the Tacoma area. Im her information and show her how to do everything person eh8ch makes it do difficult being 350 miles away from her. Wish she had someone around the corner to help her out as we bought our 85 new horizon less than a month ago and are still unsure of some things with how they work. She is used to much newer/bigger rigs but decided to downsize as she doesnt travel as much anymore!

Okay we just purchased a 1986 Toyota New Horizon 21 footer from a gentleman who took very good care of it. Unfortunately I was not standing by with paper and pen when he walked me through how different things worked. Now I'm stumped as to how I can get my awning down. Figured out how to move the arm out of the way of the Propane Tank door but thats about it! Is there anywhere to get an owners manual for one of these things? I've searched up and down on the internet and haven't found a thing until I found this lovely site! Also curious about the hot water tank and how to get it lit up. Any help and words of wisdom would be much appreciated!

Just purchased a 1986 Toyota New Horizon (or I should say my Grandmother did) to travel with her friend. Well she is clueless as to how to use the hot water system and how to get it lit as the directions on the flip down door don't make much sense. Can anyone please explain in very non technical terms how to get it lit up? Will the hot water work on electric or just of the propane?
